By clicking the “Submit Application” button during registration or by using this site, you explicitly accept, without limitation or qualification, of the collection, use and transfer of the personal information provided by you in the manner described in this Statement. Please read this Statement carefully as it affects your rights and liabilities under law. If you disagree with the way we collect and process personal information collected on the Web site, we recommend that you do not use it.

Your Privacy & Use of the Data Supplied by You

Seoul ESL maintains discrete service for our candidates on a professional level. The personal information provided by candidates will be maintained in private. Personal information provided by website users will never be used for any other purpose other than processes related to recruitment or any other permission agreed upon by the website user.

Type of Data Collected

The personal data collected from candidates is used solely for ensuring the efficiency of the recruitmentprocess. The data collected includes information such as name, address, e-mail address, phone number, career history, education history, nationality, and working status in South Korea. Upon applying for a job, you authorize Seoul ESL to collect your personal information. Youauthorize Seoul ESL to use the provided information in order to present the candidate to potential schools and to the school’s travel agent in order to obtain employment and in order to arrange travel.Youaccept and authorize Seoul ESL to use the personal information collected from you to offer customized web features, an email newsletter, and, from time to time, special placement offers by email. You authorizesSeoul ESL to contact the university(ies) youattended to establish proof of your academic history and you authorizesSeoul ESL to inform your university of your current status with Seoul ESL. Seoul ESL will not sell, trade, or disclose personal information in any way to third parties.

Submission of personal information is wholly optional and can be removed from our records by request by esl@seoulesl.com or writing Sammie Kang at 401, 4, Bangbae-ro 8gil, Seocho-gu, Seoul, S. Korea 06705.

Your Information of Application

Once youprovideyourinformation of application to Seoul ESL, it will be made available to our recruitment teams. Unless you requests otherwise, yourCV and other relevant information may be sent or presented to prospective employers who we deem would be of interest to you, and who we deem may be interested in your skills and experience.

Applications for Specific Vacancies

Upon applying for a specific vacancy (or vacancies) through Seoul ESL, the information provided by you will be used to determine suitability for the position and, if applicable, your CV will be presented to the client company with whom the vacancy is based. We will also consider whether your skills would be suitable for other opportunitiesavailable. Unless requested otherwise by you, yourdetails may be presented to additional employers whom we judge may be of interest to you.

Support

Seoul ESL will attempt to provide a reasonable amount of support and assistance to you if youareemployed through Seoul ESL’s placement and recruiting services. However, any Teaching Contract shall be solely between you and the Contracting Organization(school). Seoul ESL is not responsible or liable for breach of a Teaching Contract by either party, nor for any situation, including school closure or bankruptcy of the Contracting Organization that results in a Teaching Contract not being fulfilled. If your contract is terminated for any reason by a Contracting Organization, Seoul ESL bears no responsibility to try to rectify the situation or find an alternative or interim job for you.

Seoul ESL does not guarantee placement nor is it under any obligation to continue service for renewing individuals. Placement is based on availability, qualifications, school preferences, and the performance history of an individual. In the case that there is no position available for an individual at a certain time, Seoul ESL will keep the applicant on record for possible future positions.

Seoul ESL is not and shall not be responsible or liable for your transportation, accommodations or other services or products to be provided by the Contracting Organization or any other third party in connection with the activity, and Seoul ESL is not and shall not be liable for any other acts or omissions of such third parties.

Notification of Changes
